Taygan Fancy became a Registered Veterinary Technician in November of 2023 after completing the Veterinary Technician program at Dalhousie University. She had a unique opportunity to shadow a veterinarian in her rural community as a youth, which ultimately created a passion for the veterinary profession, specifically in animal nursing and urgent care. The rest is history!
Due to her rural roots, she finds great pleasure in spending any amount of spare time with her family. When not in the clinic, you can find her riding horses, back home visiting the South Shore, or spending some quality time with her partner, Jelte, and his sweet little boy!
Together, they have a blended collection of animals that includes two male German shepherds, one female border collie, and three cats.
