Eliza is a graduate of the Veterinary Technician program at Dalhousie University’s Agricultural Campus in Truro, Nova Scotia, where she completed her studies in 2023. After graduation, she successfully wrote the Veterinary Technician National Examination and became registered with the EVTA.
Driven by a strong passion for emergency and urgent care veterinary medicine, Eliza joined the Galaxy team in November of 2024 at the PEI location, following a year in general practice in her home province of Newfoundland. Now she resides back in Nova Scotia with her two rescue cats Pogo and Fila.
In her current role, Eliza is involved not only in patient care but has also taken on responsibility for managing finances and coordinating client payment plans. Her combined clinical and administrative experience allows her to support both patients and clients with compassion, efficiency, and clear communication.
