Alicia’s love for animals began at a young age and eventually led her to a career in veterinary medicine. Before entering the field professionally, she spent time volunteering with shelters, veterinary clinics, and animal fundraising events. In 2021, she earned her Veterinary Assistant diploma from Ashworth College and began building her experience in small animal practice.
Her career later brought her to Willow Grove, where she worked in animal wellness and integrative medicine and discovered a particular passion for helping fearful and vulnerable animals feel more comfortable. Alicia became Fear Free certified in 2023 and earned her Canine Hydrotherapy certification with honours in 2024.
As part of our team, Alicia is looking forward to building her knowledge of urgent care while supporting both patients and pet owners in her VSR role. At home, she spends plenty of time with her busy Border Collie, Jasper, and her beloved rescue cat, Rolo.
