Ailis moved to Nova Scotia from Toronto in 2024 to pursue the Veterinary Technology program at Dalhousie; she aims to graduate in 2026.
She worked as a veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistant in Toronto before joining the Truro urgent care team in September 2025. She is passionate about veterinary medicine and providing high-quality care to pets and their owners.
Outside of work, Ailis enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking in Victoria Park. She has a white and orange cat, named Fordie, affectionately named after Forty Quinn from the TV show You.
